<div style="text-align: center;">Welcome to KG Records! KG Records is my community. My online family and homebase. It’s the place I feel safest sharing unreleased music and whatever else is going on in my brain. It’s a tribe of beautiful folks who have chosen to support art. And, of course, it is my record label :) Back in 2017 I launched KG Records after it became abundantly clear that if I was going to attach any humans to my music, it would be you--my listeners. I had spent many years dabbling in the world of labels--both major and independent--thinking it was how it had to be done, but time and time again I learned that we had very different priorities. If I wanted to make music that meant something to me, if I wanted to be backed by people who were passionate about the music I wanted to make--there had to be a better way. And lo and behold, there was, and it was you. As the ones that have always had my back, the ones who support my music and allow me to do what I love everyday, the ones that give me purpose and joy--you deserve the credit! And that's why I made it official that my patrons = my label. You, my listeners, my fans, my Kinerds, are my actual label. In the years since I started KG Records, it has completely changed how I approach music. It freed me up to write and release how and when I felt inspired to (saving me from near-burn out!). It allowed me the time and space to learn how to be my own producer, mixer, video editor, and as a result, to have my hand in even more of the creative process, which I have loved. And it let me get to connect on an even deeper level with the people that made all this possible. I think music is a magical thing. It has comforted and healed and inspired me throughout my life, and that is what I hope to do for others with the music I create. I want to connect with people and help them feel less alone (and I want them to help me feel less alone, too!). I want to bring hope and happiness to peoples lives. I want to help people feel. If this is something you believe in, something that feels important to you in some way, then this is the place where you get to be a part of all of that. Quick aside: You are all equally important to me when it comes to my music. My music has purpose because you LISTEN. Because I get to connect with real live humans out there in the world. So if supporting me in this way is not possible or appealing to you, that's fine! My videos will always be available to you for free, my songs will always be released in all the usual places. (And if you can't afford to buy my music, steal it. Seriously.) My ultimate goal has always been to make the best music I can and to share it with as many people as possible.
