Control Room / Editing Suite
The nerve centre of K. G. Records is our control room. This room houses all the necessary professional equipement and software to achieve the superior quality recordings we are known for. Our high end quipment is one reason for our success - the other is our 25 years of knowledge, experience, and professional expertise. All tracking from both Studios A and B is monitored in the control room - then edited, mixed, and mastered. All recording platforms can be supported.
Studio A
Studio A is a large room for "live off the floor" recording. It also serves as home for one of our two world class Yamaha concert grand pianos, and one of our drum kits. Studio A can accommodate up to 50 musicians, and can be acoustically altered to suit any recording situation. With it's high ceilings and acoustic treatments, this studio is fashioned after the former Sony Music Studios in Toronto, Ontario, where such artists as Amanda Marshall, Chantel Kreviasuk, Leonard Cohen, 54/40, Project Wyze, Celine Dion, and many others have recorded.
Studio B
Studio B is an acoustically treated room that fits up to 4 people comfortably.
It's primary function is for recording individual and group vocals, voiceover work, and small acts such as acoustic guitars, and string quartets. Studio B also serves as the perfect writing and rehearsal room for our artists. At K. G. Records we pride ourselves in providing our artists and clients with a very comfortable and creative atmosphere.
This room can also be adapted to meet the needs of a wide range of recording projects.
